Project Overview
Comprehensive drainage system in a York garden with mature trees, resolving persistent waterlogging while protecting the existing landscape. The garden had been unusable for months during wet weather, and the owners needed a proper solution.
The Challenge
Working around established tree roots was the main concern. We had to install effective drainage without damaging the mature trees that made the garden special.
Our Approach
Used a compact Bobcat mini-excavator to work carefully around root systems. Drainage runs were planned to avoid major roots, and we hand-dug where needed to protect the trees.
The Result
A fully functioning drainage system that solved the waterlogging problem. The garden drains properly now and all the mature trees were preserved.
