Porcelain paving — the most popular choice for new patios in North Yorkshire right now. Low maintenance, frost-resistant, and available in a huge range of styles and sizes.
Natural stone — sandstone, limestone, and slate each give a distinct character. Requires more maintenance than porcelain but ages beautifully.

Why the Groundwork Matters
A patio that sinks, tips, or has joints that weed through within two seasons is almost always a sub-base problem, not a product problem. Because groundworks is our core business, we take the preparation as seriously as the finished surface — correct depth, the right sub-base material compacted properly, correct mortar bed or bedding sand, and proper falls for drainage.
