Tarmac Driveways Across North Yorkshire

A properly laid tarmac driveway should last twenty years or more. The key is in the preparation — the right sub-base depth, correct falls for drainage, and quality tarmac laid and compacted properly. We've been doing this long enough to know where corners get cut and how to avoid it.

We supply and lay tarmac driveways for homeowners and businesses across Harrogate, York, Knaresborough, Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton and the surrounding area.

What's Included in Our Tarmac Driveway Service

Every tarmac driveway we lay includes a full site survey before pricing, excavation to the correct depth for the use and ground conditions, a properly compacted sub-base, edging where required to contain the tarmac, and the tarmac surface course itself — laid and rolled to achieve the right finish and falls.

We don't price jobs by guessing from photos. We come out, look at the ground, understand the drainage requirements, and give you a fixed price based on what we actually find.

Tarmac Finish Options

Standard black tarmacthe most durable and cost-effective finish. Suits residential driveways, car parks, and access roads.

Coloured tarmacred, black, and buff tarmac are available where a decorative finish is required. Often used to complement block paving edging or an existing path or patio.

Tarmac with block paving edginga popular combination that gives a more finished, defined look while keeping the driveway itself low-maintenance.

Resurfacing over existing tarmacwhere the existing base is sound, we can resurface rather than full excavation, reducing cost and programme time.
