Holiday and caravan parks place unusual demands on their grounds. Roads carry repeated vehicle movements, pitches need reliable drainage, services cross busy areas and maintenance must happen without undermining the guest experience. We provide groundworks and practical grounds maintenance for parks across Yorkshire.
Projects can be programmed into a closed season or phased around occupied areas. We agree vehicle routes, working hours, temporary closures and reinstatement before work begins.

New pitches and park extensions
A new pitch is more than a concrete pad. Levels, access, drainage, service connections and the route used to position the unit all need to be considered together. We can deliver the groundworks package from clearance and formation through to bases, trenches, paths and surrounding reinstatement.
For extensions, we review how the new area connects to existing roads and drainage. Where information is still at planning stage, we can provide buildability input and help identify the plant access and sequencing the scheme will need.
Drainage and park roads
Water problems affect guest experience quickly. Soft verges, flooded paths and failing gravel roads can often be traced to blocked outlets, inadequate falls or a base that has mixed with the subgrade. We can investigate the cause and propose a repair that deals with water movement as well as the visible damage.
Road and path work can range from local stone repairs and regrading to full excavation, drainage, kerbing and tarmac surfacing. Specifications are matched to expected traffic and the character of the park.
Grounds maintenance around the season
Scheduled grass cutting, strimming and vegetation management can be concentrated around arrival areas, pitches, play spaces and boundaries. Visit timings and grass collection are agreed around guests and the finish required.
