Sports clubs need their outdoor areas to work through a long season. Grass and vegetation must be controlled, spectators need safe access, boundaries need to remain secure and surface water cannot be allowed to take a pitch out of use for weeks. We provide practical grounds maintenance and construction-led improvements for clubs, schools and community playing fields across Yorkshire.
Our service is best suited to organisations that want one contractor for routine grass care and the heavier external work around the site.

Maintenance dates are agreed around matches, training and community bookings. We assess ground conditions before taking machinery onto pitches or soft verges, particularly after sustained rain when an unnecessary pass can cause lasting damage.
Where drainage or construction work is required, we agree the reinstatement and establishment period before starting. The right window may be between seasons, during a school holiday or when a particular pitch can be taken out of rotation.
Pitch drainage and waterlogged areas
Standing water can come from compacted soil, damaged drains, poor falls, blocked outfalls or a drainage layout that no longer serves the way the site is used. We inspect the wider water route before recommending new pipework.
Possible work includes repairing existing land drains, installing new lateral runs, improving ditches or outlets and strengthening high-traffic entrances. Specialist sports-turf design can be coordinated where the playing standard or governing-body requirement calls for it.
Club infrastructure and improvement projects
Many clubs also need practical improvements away from the playing surface. We can repair paths, build storage or equipment bases, improve parking, install fencing and complete drainage or service trenches around new facilities.
