Skilled Patio Layer
Based from Knaresborough, working across North Yorkshire
We are looking for an experienced patio layer who takes pride in accurate preparation, clean lines and a high-quality finished surface.

You will work with our team on domestic and commercial landscaping projects across North Yorkshire. The role covers the full patio installation process, from excavation and sub-base preparation through to laying, cutting, pointing and finishing.
Our projects include porcelain paving, natural stone and concrete paving, often alongside drainage, steps, edging and wider landscaping work. We need someone who can work carefully, solve practical site problems and maintain our standards from start to finish.
The role is based from Knaresborough, with work across North Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Working hours, pay and the working arrangement will be discussed with suitable applicants.
What you'll do
- Prepare ground, sub-bases, levels and falls correctly
- Lay porcelain, natural stone and concrete paving accurately
- Complete neat cuts, joints, edges, steps and finishing details
- Work around drainage and other landscaping features
- Use tools safely and keep the work area organised
- Communicate clearly with the site team and customers
What we're looking for
- Proven hands-on patio or paving experience
- A strong understanding of levels, falls and groundwork preparation
- Consistent attention to detail and pride in the finish
- A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Details of any relevant trade qualifications and driving licence held
